Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Naples (Italy), Traffic at San Paolo Stadium

We would like to inform that heavier than normal traffic in and around the Stadio San Paolo may be expected on Tuesday 7 March, 2017 because Naples is hosting Real Madrid at 20:45.

Traffic situation: Congested traffic in and around this area and closure of the highlighted streets:

In order to enable the regular public flow at San Paolo Stadium special traffic device agreed by the municipality of Naples will be active starting at 15:00. Transit will be banned on Via Gian Battista Marino (from Piazzale Tecchio to Via Leopardi), Via Galeota (from Via Gian Battista Marino to Via Tansillo), Via Tansillo (from via Galeota to Via De Gennaro), Via De Gennaro (from Via Tansillo to Via Gian Battista Marino), Piazzale D'Annunzio (from the underpass to Via De Gennaro, opposite Curva B). Transit will only be allowed for residents, police, ANM and taxis, and persons with disabilities. Additionally, one-way traffic flow will be established on Via Terracina, from Via Cinthia intersection to Via Barbagallo.

Additionally, 'Park and Gol' service will be established at the interchange park in Viale della Liberazione in Bagnoli, accessed from the Agnano exit of the Tangenziale. It will be possible to leave the car and use the ANM Shuttle in route to the stadium at the cost of 3 euros.
