Separatists burn three bikes in Ngie

A man who presented himself as ‘general danger’ said in a video they shared online, that he burned the three bikes because the riders were caught working on Monday July 15, a day declared as ghost town by the Ambazonia separatists since January 9, 2017

The incident occurred in Ngie, a popular village in Momo division, North West region.

The perpetrators caught the men and threatened to shoot them but later seized their bikes and set them on fire, warning that anyone who works on Monday’s shall have the same fate.

Scenes like this have begun a daily occurrence in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon. If it is not the separatists, it will be government authorities dealing shops for not opening on ghost town days.
