Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended his best wishes of Easter celebration to all Ethiopian Christians.

In his message, the premier noted that Easter is a celebration of reconciliation and forgiveness.

In this Easter week, we should think and decide about ending conflicts and disagreements that have arisen in our country Ethiopia through reconciliation, he said.

“Let's remember them (the conflicts and wars) once and for all so that the mistakes of the past created by the chance of history do not darken our hope for tomorrow. Let's get rid of the obsession with vindictiveness. Let's manage our emotions so that differences of opinion don't go beyond the table and become the starting point of a fight,” Abiy stressed.

Noting that the country is on the eve of resurrection, he underlined that there is no doubt that the prosperity of Ethiopia will be realized and the resurrection of Ethiopia will be realized.
