Patriotic Immersion Graduates Return to Po After Training in Manga


Nahouri: The provincial director in charge of secondary education in Nahouri, Malick Simpore, and the second vice-president of the special delegation, Luc Petrabou, welcomed the return of high school graduates who were called up for a month-long patriotic immersion in Manga, the capital of the Nazinon region. The graduates returned to Po on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and were greeted in the late morning at the Nemaro square.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the graduates embarked on their compulsory patriotic immersion journey to Manga on August 11th. The program aimed to instill values of community living, peace, social cohesion, and discipline among the young participants. Upon their return, the provincial director and other officials praised the graduates for their commitment and participation in the training.

As part of the welcoming ceremony, the graduates sang the national and AES anthems, marking the conclusion of their immersion experience. The officials emphasized the importance of the
values learned during the program, encouraging the graduates to serve as pathfinders and leaders within their communities. They expressed hope that the knowledge and skills acquired would contribute to building an independent and prosperous Burkina Faso.

The returning graduates shared their appreciation for the training they received, noting that it equipped them with essential values to foster a peaceful and cohesive society. The month-long program was designed to empower the youth to contribute positively to the development of their communities and the nation as a whole.
