Zondoma: The Prefect, president of the special delegation of the commune of Tougo, Boureima Souley, launched this Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the 2nd phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the raising of the colors marked the commencement of activities in the commune of Tougo, as part of the 2nd edition of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation. The event, themed “For order and discipline, I commit myself”, was held at the town hall of Tougo. Boureima Souley, the first person in charge of the commune, conveyed the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, to the participants. He emphasized the importance of individual responsibility and urged everyone to adhere to the measures and instructions set by the country’s authorities. Highlighting the need for self-discipline, Souley stated, “Dear comrades, the Revolution cannot place an agent of the Laabal brigade behind each citizen to follow up and correct his acts of indiscipline.”
Following the flag-raising ceremony, the second phase of the JEPPC includes several key events, such as wearing traditional outfits, a sanitation day, and an awareness session for traders about the dangers of plastic. These activities are scheduled to take place from October 2 to 16, 2025, across the national territory.
