Ouagadougou Aggregate Delivery Association Donates 200 Tons of Materials to Support Presidential Initiative

Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe Association of Aggregate Deliverers of Ouagadougou (ABLAO) demonstrated its commitment to the presidential initiative Faso Mebo by donating 80 tons of granite and 120 tons of sand. This gesture, the result of the collective contribution of its members, illustrates the willingness of informal sector stakeholders to support the national construction and resilience effort.

According to Burkina Information Agency, “All the aggregate delivery workers in Ouagadougou, united within our association, responded to the call of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, by contributing to this donation,” declared ABLAO President Hamado Zongo. This initiative aims to build a united, strong, and prosperous Burkina Faso.

Laurent Bouda, an active member of the association, paid tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). “Many of our FDS and VDP fell on the battlefield for the homeland. We will never cease to magnify their bravery and ensure that they leave behind them,” he said.

Beyond the donation, ABLAO members also participated in practical work, including the creation of paving stones at the Faso Mebo headquarters, demonstrating their civic commitment. They promised to return with more contributions and initiatives to support the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traore, President of Faso and Head of State.

Through this gesture, ABLAO intends to contribute to the national edifice and inspire other associations and trades to join the collective dynamic of national construction and solidarity.
