Koosin: The citizen watch of the village of Sikoro is involved in cleaning the road leading to Bourasso, the capital of the commune. The citizen watch mobilized the population this Saturday, September 27, 2025, to clean the main road connecting the village to Bourasso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the citizen watch movement, Bihejoumou Coulibaly, stated that the activity is part of a series of planned initiatives. Residents, both young and old, participated by using axes and machetes to clear clumps and shrubs along the road.

The secretary general of the citizen watch, Tankian Coulibaly, emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “We are offering a lesson in civic duty, resilience, and patriotic commitment to the entire population of the commune; it is an example that we must follow.”

An awareness session on social cohesion, mutual respect, and the public interest was also organized. A VDP official from the municipality highlighted the importance of compliance with safety instructions as a requirement for everyone involved.
