K©n©dougou: The Babali mineral water and soft drink production and marketing unit officially closed its mass production campaign on Sunday, July 13, 2025. The event brought together several prominent figures from the business world from the Guiriko region of Burkina Faso and Bamako, Mali.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the closing ceremony of the large-scale production campaign organized by the Presta Sud Babali Company was intended to be a moment of pause and reflection. Factory manager Mathias Gansor© stated that the aim was to take stock of an intensive campaign, which mobilized 870 permanent workers and 700 day laborers. He praised the commitment of the staff who, according to him, worked night and day to achieve the set objectives. Despite some constraints encountered, Mr. Gansor© judged the progress of the campaign to be generally satisfactory.
Guest of honor at the ceremony, the general director of Brasseries du Mali, Ben Habib, expressed his pride at having been associated with the event. He praised the “entrepreneurial audacity” of the Chairman and CEO of Presta-Sud, Mahamadou Barry, whom he considers a model of industrial leadership in the sub-region. Mr. Barry expressed his gratitude to all the collaborators and partners. He stressed that this ceremony constitutes a strategic pause, to evaluate the company’s performance and better adapt production to the demands of the global market.
This closing ceremony was also marked by a blood drive organized in partnership with the Guiriko Regional Blood Transfusion Center and the final of the 2nd edition of the Babali Cup, an internal sports competition which aims to strengthen cohesion among workers.
