Health Workers Enhance Cohesion with Relaxing Outing to Nahouri Peak


Nahouri: Health workers from the Po health district in Nahouri province organized the 3rd edition of their relaxation day at Nahouri Peak on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion among workers. Activities such as climbing the peak, shopping streets, tastings, and board games, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion among workers, filled the day.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was held under the theme “Health and sport: drivers of community resilience.” This initiative gathered health workers from the P´ health district at Pic Nahouri for a day dedicated to relaxation and team-building activities. The chairman of the organizing committee, Samuel Nana, emphasized the objectives of fostering fraternity and social cohesion among public and private health workers across the province while promoting domestic tourism.



Samuel Nana stated, “This relaxing outing allowed us to unwind away from the stress and burden of service and to have more strength to accomplish the various tasks and missions entrusted to us.” He further noted the event’s role in bringing families together through various activities.



Dr. Boukare Wanre, the Chief Medical Officer of the P´ health district, praised the initiative of his colleagues. He highlighted that the event’s purpose extended beyond recreation and festivity, aiming to establish social cohesion and unity between public and private health workers. Dr. Wanre expressed hope that the participants would emerge stronger and better equipped to meet the needs of the community following the day’s activities.



Participants included private health workers, staff from private pharmacies, the Nazinon regional health directorate, and personnel from the Po military garrison infirmary, all contributing to the success of the outing.
