Faso Mªbo Initiative Gears Up for Launch in Nando Region


Nando: The governor of the Nando region, Adama Jean Yves Bere, chaired an information meeting with key regional players to prepare for the launch of activities under the presidential initiative, Faso Mªbo. This initiative, spearheaded by President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, seeks to garner voluntary and widespread support from the population.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Governor Adama Jean Bere emphasized the importance of full mobilization for the launch and implementation of the initiative within the region. He acknowledged the region’s delayed start in adopting Faso Mªbo but expressed confidence in Koudougou’s potential to achieve significant results once mobilized.



Captain Ismael Natanael Nombre, the focal point for Faso Mªbo, outlined the initiative’s general principles and objectives. He shared insights gained from visits to Tenkodogo and Bobo-Dioulasso, highlighting the need for regional forces to embrace this dynamic to meet goals related to opening up and urbanizing cities, aiming to enhance citizens’ living environments.



Participants at the meeting offered various proposals to ensure the successful implementation of Faso Mªbo in the region. Faso Mªbo is one of six presidential initiatives adopted in Burkina Faso, serving as a cornerstone in the country’s urban transformation efforts.



A second preparatory meeting is planned for the following Friday, aiming to engage the region’s residents, civil society, economic operators, and traditional and religious authorities in supporting the initiative.
