Monrovia: Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, who made history as Africa’s first elected female head of state, served as president of Liberia from 2006 to 2018. In a recent discussion, she emphasized the essence of true leadership beyond mere authority with the statement, “Power just for power’s sake is not power.”
