Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen arrived in Beijing today on an official visit to China.

Senior Chinese Government officials warmly welcomed the Ethiopian Delegation at Beijing International Airport.

Head of Mission and staff of Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing and representatives of the diaspora community in China have also received the high level Ethiopian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Demeke will consult with the Chinese authorities on how to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between the two countries.

It’s to be recalled that the Chinese Foreign Minister paid a visit to Ethiopia in January 2023.
