Delegation of Chief Regional Administrators Visits Factories Damaged in Wukro Town

All Chief Administrators and City Mayors of Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa as well as other senior federal government officials partook in the visit conducted today.

The delegation has visited Samayata Marble Factory and Sheba Leather factory, where they were briefed about the serious damages inflicted on the factories, it was learned.

It was also indicated during the visit that the many citizens, who used to work in the factories, have now been facing serious problems for the factories stopped operation due to the damages.

The Chief Administrators have pledged to provide the necessary support in the efforts to be undertaken to rehabilitate the factories.

The delegation is conducting the visit following Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s announcement last week at an event held under theme “Enough with War; Let Us Sustain Peace” to honor those who have contributed to making the Pretoria Peace Agreement a reality that all chief administrators of regional states will travel to Tigray to demonstrate their solidarity to the people of the region.
