Ouagadougou: Technical advisors in charge of cultural and tourism affairs to the governors of Burkina Faso’s 13 regions expressed their support for the presidential initiative Faso Mebo by donating a ton of cement this Saturday.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Josiane Sanou, the technical advisor to the governor of the Kadiogo region in charge of cultural and tourism affairs, stated that this gesture is an expression of the collective commitment of her colleagues to supporting the development of the country.
“This is to mark our support and commitment to the Faso Mebo initiative. We also want to participate in the construction and development of our cities,” she said.
Ms. Sanou also called on all people of good will to get involved in the process, emphasizing that national construction is a shared responsibility. “Regardless of your social status, everyone has something to offer. There are people who are there to offer construction materials, and others also come to lend a hand on the various construction sites. That’s also a contribution,” she emphasized.
The presidential initiative Faso Mebo, which aims to improve the living conditions of the population through community development actions, continues to generate growing support among different social classes.
