Ouagadougou: The City Management Center (CEGECI) is organizing a “Health and Well-being at Work Week” from July 28 to August 3, aiming to raise awareness among its staff about the importance of physical and mental health, while promoting healthy professional practices. CEGECI Director General Martine Ky officially launched the initiative in Ouagadougou, intending to foster a fulfilling and productive professional environment.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the week-long event will feature a range of activities such as conferences, debates, dynamic aerobics sessions, and health stands dedicated to promoting physical and mental well-being. Ms. Ky highlighted the importance of team building to enhance team spirit and cohesion among employees.
The initiative is designed to embed a culture of well-being, encourage healthy lifestyles, and strengthen ties between colleagues, which are considered essential for a harmonious working environment. Ms. Ky encouraged staff participation in the activities, urging them to engage in dialogue with partners and sister entities and contribute ideas for continuous professional climate improvement.
