Boulgou: The rehabilitation work on the bridge located on the Bittou-Cinkans© axis in the Nakamb© region has been completed thanks to a synergy of action between the Defense and Security Forces and the local population, keen to restore a vital link in the road network, noted AIB. Damaged by bad weather and the effect of overloading heavy goods vehicles, the failure of the structure had been a concern for several weeks for users of the Bittou-Cinkans© axis, an important economic corridor linking Burkina Faso to Togo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, its rehabilitation, completed in three days, was made possible by the combined efforts of technicians driven by a spirit of resilience and patriotic commitment. The work, supervised by the FDS, consisted of strengthening the bridge’s supporting structures and securing the surrounding area to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.

The large numbers of people mobilized made a valuable contribution. Ibrahim Zampaligr©, a local resident, expressed his satisfaction with the rapid restoration of the bridge. He thanked the authorities for their prompt action and the defense and security forces for their presence during the construction work. He urged carriers to comply with government regulations to safeguard the structures.
