Boucle du Mouhoun Achieves 80.30% Success Rate in Professional Qualification Certificate

Mouhoun: The Boucle du Mouhoun region has recorded an impressive overall success rate of 80.30% in the 2025 session of the Professional Qualification Certificate (BQP), as announced by the regional directorate responsible for Secondary Education. In total, 84 candidates were registered for the exams, but only 66 participated, with 18 absentees distributed across three key specialisms.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the metal construction field saw five absences, automotive maintenance had four, and styling-modeling recorded nine. Despite these absences, the overall results remained strong. Notably, in the metal construction specialization, all 15 candidates who attended the exam were successful, achieving a 100% success rate. This outcome reflects the effective training and the candidates’ proficiency in fabricating and assembling metal structures.

Similarly, automotive maintenance candidates excelled, with all 21 participants passing, which also amounted to a 100% success rate. This indicates the robust educational framework supporting individuals pursuing careers in mechanics and automotive maintenance. However, the styling and modeling specialization had a more varied performance, with 17 out of 30 candidates passing, resulting in a 56.67% success rate. Despite being below the regional average, this suggests potential growth in the creative field if training and supervision efforts are enhanced.

The collective outcomes led to Boucle du Mouhoun achieving an overall success rate of 80.30% for the 2025 BQP session. This result is attributed to the dedication of trainers, the commitment of candidates, and the diligent oversight by educational authorities. The regional management extended congratulations to the successful candidates and urged those who were unsuccessful to continue their efforts. They emphasized strengthening support and training systems to meet the demand for skilled professionals in the region and the nation. Additionally, they called for strategies to combat exam absenteeism to further enhance vocational training outcomes in the future.
