Bikers from West Coast Adventure Association Discover the Wonders of Dj´r´


Ouagadougou: Bikers from the West Coast Adventure association discover the wonders of Dj´r´ while staying in the Southwest region from July 25 to 27, 2025. Motorcyclists from the association, committed to promoting domestic tourism in Burkina Faso, visited several major tourist sites in the region.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the Ruins of Lorop©ni, the Gaoua Museum, and the military caves of Di©bougou were among the emblematic sites that amazed the members of the West Coast Adventure. This outing, as stated by their president Adama Ou©draogo, is part of the domestic tourism season launched in Tenkodogo by the Minister in charge of Culture and Tourism.



Beyond discovery, the bikers took advantage of their visit to raise awareness about wearing helmets, reminding people of the importance of road safety, especially for two-wheeler drivers. The Regional Director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism of Dj´r´, Ms. €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¹‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬ ve Carol Yamwemba, welcomed the initiative and expressed her gratitude for the choice of her region. “Their visit contributes to the visibility of our cultural and tourist heritage,” she emphasized. She also called on the Burkinabe to take ownership of this tourist dynamic.



West Coast Adventure doesn’t intend to stop there. The association is actively preparing for the Tour du Faso, scheduled for next October and covering eight regions in seven days, with over a hundred motorcyclists.
