Bandjoun: A widow narrates how three armed men murdered her husband

A mother of six children in Akuo, a quarter in Bandjoun, Khoun-Ki division of the West region narrated how her husband, André TAKAM a 55-year-old businessman was killed by three armed men on May 4, 2024. The widow narrated how her husband was killed saying the incident happened around 7 PM local time, 'When he returned home, he was held by three men who ordered him to lay on the ground. They then asked the rest of us in the house to join them outside. While outside I saw my husband and son on the ground.' Upon joining them, one of the hoodlums announced to them their mission. 'He told us with no remorse, that they have been sent to kill the head of the family, André TAKAM.' Repeated the widow. The target upon hearing this and fuming at the way his wife was being harassed and interrogated, gathered courage to flex muscles with the three men. 'A serious fight generated and I ran, shouting. One of them caught me and said if I continued shouting he would kill me. He ordered me to return to the compound. Just before reaching, I heard a loud sound.
