Ouagadougou: The new provincial director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of Tuy, Abdoul Latif Sanon, has emphasized the importance of communication in his management strategy to foster a harmonious working environment aimed at meeting set objectives, particularly within the Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Offensive.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Abdoul Latif Sanon made this commitment during his installation ceremony on July 25, 2025, presided over by Tuy’s Secretary General, Dieudonn© Zeida. Sanon, a soil engineer, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture for their trust and acknowledged the significant responsibilities of his new role. Emphasizing communication, he aims to build on the achievements of his predecessor, Emmanuel Kombema, and called for collaboration among the Provincial Directorate’s staff and active forces to tackle upcoming challenges.
Sanon pledged to collaborate effectively with technical and financial partners, NGOs, and development associations to enhance the living conditions in Tuy. His predecessor, Emmanuel Kombema, after serving for over two years, expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support and assured Sanon of his continued assistance. Kombema highlighted the contributions of various bodies, local authorities, and partners during his tenure.
Dieudonn© Zeida commended Kombema for his contributions and urged support for Sanon from Tuy’s community. The ceremony also witnessed attendance from Eric Pascal Adanabou, the Regional Director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of Hauts-Bassins.
